GEORGIA RENAL NUTRITION ASSOCIATION (GRNA) serves as the leading source of nephrology nutrition expertise in Georgia. We network with other organizations, professionals, as well as the community to improve the lives of those with chronic kidney disease (CKD) through education, outreach and research in the field of nutrition as it pertains to prevention, eradication and treatment of kidney disease and related disorders. Our Goals:

• To develop and promote patient and public education on the nutritional aspects of renal disease, dialysis, transplantation, and other related disorders throughout the state

• To develop and promote statewide professional education programs for dietitians, physicians, and other interested health professionals

• To support the profession of the nephrology dietitian in Georgia

• To encourage and promote quality nutritional care for all patients with CKD

• To impact regulatory and legislative issues affecting those with CKD
